So Exciting Silhouette Christmas Card

Well a couple of weeks ago Little Claire sent me a bumper parcel of lovely goodies (I love it when the postie delivers a LC mystery parcel) and this is one of the cards I have made with their new silhouette Christmas stamps. The stamps are not on sale yet but keep a look out because they are coming soon.

what you will need:
Little Claire Silhouette So Exciting stamp
6" x 6" base card
gold mirri card
green sugar paper
turquoise leather embossed card
good quality mat print paper
Artylicious Seasons Greetings (disc  1)
Do Hickey tall pine tree die
die cutting machine
Versa Fine black ink pad
Tim Holtz distress ink pads - pine needles, mowed lawn & Cut n Dry
wet glue
glitter glue
black glitter
Do Crafts beige & gold Happy Christmas satin ribbon
faceted green gem

Stick the gold mirri card to the base card and cut to size.
Cut the green sugar paper to mat and layer onto the mirri base card and stick into place.
Cut another piece of mirri card to mat and layer onto the green sugar paper but leave a slightly wider green border around. Stick into position.

Using the Artylicious Seasons Greetings CD select the "Joy to the World" section and chose the turquoise swirly whirly background image. Select the square print version and print onto a good quality mat print paper.
Cut the printed paper to mat and layer onto the mirri card previously pasted onto the base card and stick into position (I used the image with the darker side of the pattern to the left).

Using the Little Claire So Exciting silhouette stamp and the Versaa Fine ink pad stamp the image onto a piece of the green sugar paper.
Cut the image to size.
Shade the image using the Tim Holts distress inks and the Cut n Dry (start at the bottom of the image with the pine needles and fade into mowed lawn then fade this into the original green colour of the paper).
Go over the baubles, star and the ground with the wet glue (if you have a fine nozzle on your glue you will be able to glue the fine detail but if not you could  use a fine paint brush to apply the glue).
Sprinkle the black glitter over the image and shake off any excess. Allow to dry.

Stick the topper image onto gold mirri board and cut the board down to mat and layer.
Stick the topper onto the base card.

Cut a piece of the ribbon and stick onto the card to create the sentiment.

Using the Do Hickey tree die and the turquoise leather embossed card cut out 2 large trees and 1 small tree.
Cut down one of the tall tree trunks.
Colour the trees with the distress inks using the Cut n Dry and then cover with the glitter glue. Allow to dry.
Stick the trees onto the card.

Make a bow using the satin ribbon and stick it onto the card so that the tails of the bow do not have the writing showing.

Stick the green gem onto the end of the sentiment ribbon to hide the rough edge of the ribbon.
