Ribbon & Twine digi challenge

Hi Alli here with you today and it is the launch of the Little Claire June digi stamp competition and this is what you could win if you decide to enter

5 digi stamps of your choice

I have made this moving home card as I am moving home in the next few weeks so why not make a card for myself - ha ha. I think it looks really summery and the beach huts were so easy to colour in.

what you will need:
Little Claire digi Beach Huts stamp
6" x 6" base card
pink sugar paper
orange sugar paper
white card to print onto
Nit Wit One Birdie Lane paper pad
Tim Holts picked berry distress ink pad & Cut n Dry
Tim Holtz mowed Lawn distress ink pad & Cut n Dry
Tim Holtz evergreen bough distress ink pad & Cut n Dry
white angel hair
Hobbycraft alphabet stamps
green twine
pink satin ribbon
embellishments

Cut a strip of angel hair trimming about 1 1/2" by 17" and colour it using the evergreen bough distress ink. Blot off any excess ink and leave to dry (overnight).

Cut the pink sugar paper to mat and layer onto the white base card but do not stick into place.
Cut the spotty paper from the One Birdie Lane paper pad to mat and layer onto the pink sugar paper and using the Tim Holts Picked Berry distress ink and the Cut n Dry shade the edges.

Cut the previously stained angel hair trimming into two and attach to the card. Try to get the angel hair to overlap in places as it is meant to look like a piece of fishing net. (I stuck the angel hair directly on to the front of the card using wet glue but it was a messy business and I would recommend that you wrap the angel hair around to the back of the paper and secure with tape).
Stick the spotty paper/ange hair combo onto the pink sugar paper.

Cut a piece of pink bird house paper about 112mm x 105mm from the One Birdie Lane paper pad and mat and layer it onto the orange sugar paper.
Stick these papers at a jaunty angel onto the spotty paper previously made.

Using your graphics program re size the Little Claire digi Beach Huts stamp to 3 5/8" from side to side and print onto the white card.
Cut the image to size and colour in.
Mat and layer the coloured image onto the orange sugar paper and stick on top of the other papers at a jaunty angle.

Stick the pink ribbon to the papers and secure at the back with tape.
Attach three pieces of the green twine to the ribbon (I unravelled my twine to produce three strands).

Stick the papers to the base card.

Colour a piece of white card with the mowed lawn and evergreen bough distress inks.
Arrange the Hobbycraft alphabet letters on a stamping block to read the words "moving house" and stamp using the Versa Fine ink pad.
Cut the sentiment to size.
Stick the sentiment onto the card.

Tie a double bow with the green twine and attach to the card.

Add various embellishments (for my sea shells I used a pearl coloured plastic seashells sold on a string by the metre from Hobbycraft. I cut the sea shells from the string and painted them with some old nail varnishes that I had. I used ordinary pearl gems and painted them with nail varnish too).
