Dinkie Butterflies & Cat

Hello it`s my turn to do a LC Designs blog project and I was really glad to shut myself away in my warm craft room on a very cold day to make this card. I have been wanting to use these Splodge papers ever since I received them, and together with the sweet Butterfly Cat Dinkies stamp this card was the result.

what you will need:
LC Designs Dinkies Butterfly Cat stamp
LC Designs Dinkies test To Lovely You
LC Designs Dinkies Text Happy Birthday

white card to stamp onto
black Verrsa Fine ink pad
Peacock green/blue paper
colouring in implements
lilac pearl paper scraps
Peacock green/blue 3 1/2cm organza ribbon
small butterfly Tonic boot punch
larger butterfly punch

Cut a piece of card to the size of the embossing folder.
Emboss the card using the Xcut hearts embossing folder.
Cut the embossed card to 13.7mm x 13.7cm.
Mat and layer the card onto the Peacock green/blue paper.
Stick the paper/embossed card onto the white base card.

Cut the pink and yellow LC Designs splodge paper to 9.3cm x 9.3cm.
Mat and layer the splodge paper onto Peacock green/blue paper.
Stick the splodge paper combo onto the base card making sure that the darker pink colour is to the right hand side.

Using the LC Designs Dinkies Butterfly Cat stamp and the black Versa Fine ink pad stamp the image onto good quality card.
Colour the image.
Make the tag 4.8cm x 9.7cm.
Stick the tag onto the card at a jaunty angle.

Make a bow using the Peacock green/blue organza ribbon and stick it to the top of the tag.

sing the black Versa Fine ink pad and the LC Designs Dinkies Text stamp the sentiments "To Lovely You" and "Happy Birthday" stamp the sentiments onto white card.
Cut the text to size and stick onto the base card.

Using the Tonic small butterfly boot punch cut out 2 Peacock green/blue butterflies, 2 x lilac butterflies and stick onto the tag.
Cut 1 small and 1 larger butterfly from white card.
Stick the two butterflies onto the darker colour on the right hand side of the splodge paper.
