Hello, today is the launch of the Little Claire July stamp challenge and the theme for this month is "In Bloom" and so I have made a card using their Butterfly Blossom stamp which I think has an oriental look to it. Go to the Little Claire blog if you fancy entering the competition and see the cards which the design team have made to give you some ideas. The prizes for this month are listed below and the Butterfly Blossom stamp which I have used is included in the prizes.

what you will need:
Little Claire Butterfly Blossom stamp
Woodware sentiments stamp
6" x 6" white base card
pink paper
white card to stamp onto
Moonglow Midnight Gold embossing powder
clear embossing stamp pad
heat gun
anti static pad
Artylicious Seasons Greetings backgrounds disc
good quality mat printer paper - around 180gsm
blue pastel chalks & Cut n Dry
colouring in implements
pink satin ribbon
pearl gem embellishments
pearl heart slider embellishment
fine tip black pen

Cut the pink paper to mat and layer onto the base card and stick into place.

Using the Artylicious disc select "background papers" and then in the "Joy to the World" section select the darker of the two blue papers and then select the square option and print the design onto good quality mat print paper.
Cut the printed design down to mat and layer onto the pink paper but do not stick into place.

Rub the top left of the printed paper with the anti static pad and stamp the sentiment using the clear embossing pad and the Woodware sentiment stamp.
Sprinkle the sentiment with the Moonglow embossing powder and shake off any excess powder, now heat with a heat gun.
Stick the printed paper onto the pink paper.

Rub the anti static pad over the white card you are going to stamp onto.
Stamp the Butterfly Blossom image onto the white card using the clear embossing stamp pad.
Sprinkle the image with the Moonglow Midnight Gold embossing powder and shake off any excess powder.
Heat the image with the heat gun.

Stamp a further two big butterflies and three small butterflies and emboss.

Cut the image to the required size.
Using blue pastel chalks and the Cut n Dry lightly colour the background of the topper.
Colour the image and the extra butterflies with the colouring in implements of your choice.
Cut out the extra butterflies and fold them down the middle to make them 3D.

Stick the topper onto some pink paper and cut the paper down to size.
Stick the topper in the middle of the base card.

Stick the extra butterflies onto the card and using the fine tip pen draw some antenna.

Stick the pearl gems onto the middle of the flowers.

Make a bow from the pink satin ribbon and stick into place.
Cut the middle slider section from the pearl heart slider and stick the heart onto the middle of the bow.
